The Dodge Viper has traditionally been
America’s most powerful and quickest production
sports car. Built in the spirit of the 1960’s
AC Cobra, this car embodies the design of a big high-horsepower
engine in a light, low, two-seater body style. In production
now for fourteen years, the viper has come to symbolize
the American performance and muscle car.
The GTS represented a new milestone
and a breakthrough with its larger, 450 horsepower engine
and clean coupe design. It’s hard to think of
a sports car, worldwide, that generates as much excitement
as the Viper when shifting into its second of six speeds
on the gear shift.
The blue with white stripe color scheme
which harkens back to early Cobra days has been so popular
that it was reintroduced in the 2006 model year. This
car is truly a classic in every sense of the word and
is so much fun to drive that is has consistently been
in the top two most popular vehicles reserved by members
from the Exotic Car Share Collection.
It is apparent, while driving, that the
extremely wide rear tires aren’t on the car just
for looks. With a top speed other cars in its class,
the Viper is comparable to, if not more appealing than
import Super-cars and exotics from Germany, Italy, and
Japan.
The weeks and weekends our members have
experienced with this single passenger at a time vehicle
has been described as: “It’s Fast!”,
“The best car in the whole World” and “A
weekend never went so FAST!”(Back
